第二期 清楚的结构是一篇好文章的灵魂
Reading is writting, vice versa, writting is reading.英语是一种结构和逻辑都非常严密的语言，因此英文文章在结构和语言上明显清楚地反映出英语语言的这一特点。要想很好地把握英语这种语言，我们就要非常了解并且能够熟悉应用这一特点，换句话说，就是在我们的阅读写作过程中，我们要非常清楚地运用英语清楚的结构逻辑知识去清楚地读出作者的写作思路、作品内容以及写作目的；在我们的写作过程中，我们要清楚地写出我们的思路、内容意图。
现在，我们来分析一下英语文章的特点：
绝大多数英语文章都是说明文(exposition),说明文的特点是它拥有非常清楚地结构，也就是说，说明文大多都分为三个层次，即
引导段(introduction)
1、主题句必须是可辩论的，不能是说事实，而是说观点。Theme Statement是全文的主题句
2、主题句的位置最好在第一段的最后一句。
支撑段(body)
1、每段只能有一个意思(topic sentence)。
2、主题句(topic sentence)＋支撑句(supporting details)。 Topic Sentence是段落的中心句
3、主题句不能定得太宽，也不能才窄。这是因为说不完或者没有支持的主题句是不能接受的。
4、不能有任何无法用来展开论题的多余材料。
结束段(conclusion)
1、简要重述观点以及证明。
2、不要引入任何新的主题。
条件：假如无法说清楚的话
在国外，这种文章的形式称之为keyhole essay，即钥匙孔式文章，也就是说在形式上文章的头、尾简要，body部分内容较多。
今天介绍这部分知识，目的是要大家了解，上期所发的评分标准中“条理清楚"这一第一原则就是要求我们写文章时要注意文章的结构，只要我们自己把文章的结构安排合理，写作时我们的思路也就顺畅，我们文章的档次在打分时也就相应的提高了。
我们现在开始的训练就是要强化我们在结构方面的清晰程度。希望大家在习作时注意到你文章的结构。

Good Health
The desire for good health is universal(这就是introduction 部分). In our competitive society it is important to maintain good health(这就是Theme Statement是全文的主题句，也是提纲的第一部分). On the one hand, people with good health can do work with full confidence and their progress in work in turn contributes to their health and happiness. On the other hand, a sick person is usually not interested in everything around him and therefore he loses many opportunities to become successful(这一部分就是支持说明部分，即details).
There are many ways to keep it(保持健康的途径。topic sentence,其后全都是detail部分). First, those who are always on the go from morning till night should find time to relax because too much stress will affect their health. Second, enough time should be left for sleep because that will help one become rested and refreshed. Finally, regular physical exercises benefit one's health a lot. So one should always keep in mind that a certain amount of exercise is not a waste of time.
As for me, I like playing tennis in the morning(我自己的实践。). I also attach much importance to enough sleep and relaxation. I believe this will ensure my good health for the rest of my life.
